1. General Terms
Welcome to ShopWinneba.com ("the Platform"), an online marketplace operated in Winneba, Central Region, Ghana. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
ShopWinneba reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including buyers, sellers, visitors, and anyone who accesses or uses the services offered.
2. Account Registration
- You may need to create an account or provide personal information to use certain features of the Platform.
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account information updated.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and make purchases on ShopWinneba.
- ShopWinneba reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.
- You agree not to create multiple accounts for deceptive purposes or to circumvent any restrictions placed on your account.
3. Orders & Purchases
- All orders placed on ShopWinneba are subject to product availability and acceptance by the seller.
- Product descriptions, images, and prices are provided by sellers and ShopWinneba makes reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but does not guarantee that all information is error-free.
- Prices are listed in Ghana Cedis (GHS) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
- ShopWinneba reserves the right to cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to: product unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or violation of these Terms.
- Order confirmation does not constitute acceptance. An order is accepted only when the product is dispatched or the seller confirms the order.
- Promotional offers and discounts are subject to specific terms and may be modified or withdrawn at any time.
4. Payment
- ShopWinneba accepts the following payment methods: Mobile Money (MTN MoMo, Vodafone Cash, AirtelTigo Money), Cash on Delivery (within Winneba), and bank transfer.
- Payment must be completed before or upon delivery of the product, depending on the payment method selected.
- All Mobile Money transactions are processed through secure payment gateways. ShopWinneba does not store your Mobile Money PIN or bank details.
- In the event of a failed transaction, the amount will be refunded to your original payment method within 3-5 business days.
- ShopWinneba is not responsible for any fees charged by your mobile network operator or bank for processing payments.
5. Delivery
- ShopWinneba offers delivery within Winneba and across the Central Region of Ghana.
- Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on product availability, seller location, and your delivery address.
- Standard delivery within Winneba town is typically 1-2 hours for in-stock items. Deliveries to other parts of the Central Region take 1-3 business days.
- Delivery fees are calculated based on your location and will be displayed at checkout before you confirm your order.
- You must provide an accurate delivery address and be available to receive the delivery. If delivery fails due to incorrect information or unavailability, additional delivery charges may apply.
- Risk of loss and title for items passes to you upon delivery.
6. Returns & Refunds
- You may return most items within 7 days of delivery provided they are unused, in original packaging, and in the same condition as received.
- To initiate a return, contact ShopWinneba via WhatsApp at 0548 544 533 with your order number and reason for return.
- Non-returnable items include: perishable goods, personal care items, underwear, customized products, and digital products.
- Refunds will be processed within 3-5 business days after the returned item has been received and inspected.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method (Mobile Money, bank account).
- If a return is due to a defective or incorrect item, ShopWinneba will cover return shipping costs. For other returns, the customer bears the return shipping cost.
7. Privacy & Data Protection
- Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
- By using ShopWinneba, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.
- ShopWinneba implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
- You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
